Associate Professor Aditya Vyas MBBS MPH FAFPHM FHEA GAICD is a public health physician and Deputy Director of the Healthy Environments and Lives (HEAL) Global Research Centre at University of Canberra. Adi has held senior leadership roles at the Ministry of Health in Sydney, worked during the COVID-19 pandemic at the Department of Health in Perth, and is a consultant to the World Health Organization on climate resilience and environmental sustainability. He was the inaugural MJA-Lancet Countdown Oceania Fellow, and a member of the United Nations COP28 Health Programme, where he led a number of outputs for the first ever Health Day at the international climate change negotiations.
