Emily has worked as an Environmental Health Officer for almost 8 years and has been at Yarra Ranges Council for over 6 years. She has approved the installation of numerous septic systems and investigated many wastewater complaints. These include odour, leaking and illegally built systems, including the use of spa baths and water tanks as makeshift systems. She has assessed many different systems and, where necessary, has explored various options with owners to ensure that their systems are effective and work properly.
Emily has assisted with Emergency Management response and recovery, including storm and flooding events within Yarra Ranges Council and Greater Shepparton City Council.
