Lisa is a Senior Lecturer and Head of Undergraduate Public Health courses at Central Queensland University. She has undergraduate degrees in both environmental science and environmental health. After graduation, Lisa completed a Masters degree in Environmental Health and worked as an Environmental Health Officer before completing her PhD at the National Research Centre for Environmental Toxicology (University of Queensland). Her research interests are in environmental health risk assessment, environmental toxicology, disaster risk reduction, environmental health professional education and managing environmental health risks toward achieving the UN sustainable development goals in low and middle income nations. Lisa chairs the Australia and New Zealand Environmental Health Educator’s Forum.
