As a major initiative of Vincent’s Public Health Plan, five smoke-free (and vape free) Town Centres were established in 2022, making Vincent a leader in this space in WA. By sharing valuable knowledge and experiences gained throughout the life of this project (work began in 2020) such as challenges, wins, observations, data, recommendations, Vincent aims to inspire the prioritisation of tobacco control and expansion of smoke-free public places. This project has been subject to thorough monitoring and evaluation, including annual audits of each town centre and 6-monthly surveying of community and businesses.
