The Australian Indigenous HealthInfoNet contributes to ‘closing the gap’ in health between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians by making knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health freely available to the health workforce on its website. The website includes a dedicated Environmental Health portal that helps to reduce the digital divide, particularly for environmental health practitioners in remote communities, by making relevant, culturally appropriate information and resources easily accessible. This presentation will highlight how environmental health practitioners can use the HealthInfoNet’s Environmental Health portal to inform their professional practice in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities.
