Participants will be able to refresh their skills in food and water sampling (including legal sampling), and other types of environmental sampling (such as asbestos in soils).
Experts from the contracted Analytical Services Laboratories - Eurofins ARL and Agrifood Technology - will provide detailed instruction on the sampling process, appropriate containers, minimum quantities, and an overview of the various analyses performed on the samples with guidance on the interpretation of results.
Participants will be able to improve their own sampling techniques and have a greater understanding of environmental health risks when investigating complaints or undertaking routine sampling checks.
